Tony Rems, Managing Partner
Tony has over 18 years experience in the software and Internet industries. Prior to joining ThoughtMatrix, Tony was the CTO of SBI/Razorfish. As CTO, Tony handled enterprise, architecture, planning and IT strategy for a number of SBI's largest clients, including Visa, Mattel, Symantec and AT&T Broadband. In addition, Tony managed the Alliance program building new technology partnerships which continue to drive millions of dollars of new business into SBI. Prior to that Tony was a managing partner at the former marchFIRST, an Internet professional services firm, where he managed a technology group of over 270 consultants. These service teams were delivering large Web initiatives for companies such as American Airlines, Harrah's, Sega, Visa and Williams Sonoma. Tony was a Managing Architect for USWeb/CKS, launching large, integrated Web initiatives for Walgreens, IBM, GM, Logitech, Toyota Europe, Sun and other clients. Tony also worked developing software and operating systems solutions at Oracle, Unisoft, Amdahl and Sybase.
Tony has focused on best practices surrounding electronic commerce and enterprise architecture, and the design of highly scalable systems in complex legacy environments with high-performance and security requirements. While having developed leading edge Microsoft and IBM solutions, Tony is an industry expert in Java-based eCommerce and applications servers, and has written and published work in these areas. Tony received his computer science degree from University California Berkeley.

Trevor Fagerskog, Managing Partner
Trevor is a 28-year veteran of Silicon Valley and manages ThoughtMatrix's Operations and Project Office. Prior to co-founding ThoughtMatrix in 2003, Trevor was President and CEO of Food.com, where he directed Food.com's charge to deliver quality technology solutions to the restaurant industry. Trevor joined Food.com from marchFIRST, the Internet professionals services firm formed from the merger of Whitmann-Hart and USWeb/CKS, where he was Executive Partner of Technology and oversaw the activities of 5000 consultants in 2000.
At marchFIRST, Trevor was responsible for establishing technology direction for both the company and its clients. Trevor drove internal innovation and market direction, ensured quality service delivery and grew new business and intellectual capital.
Prior to his role as Executive Partner, Trevor was Managing Partner of the eCommerce practice for marchFIRST's Northwest Group, and he grew the division to 250+ professionals and $60M in revenue in 1999, by delivering first-rate business to consumer/channel solutions for companies such as Levi Strauss, Walgreen's, Toyota Europe and IBM. Prior to marchFIRST, Trevor held technical and management positions with GE/CALMA, Fortune Systems, MIPS Computer Systems and Silicon Graphics.

Chris Lucey, Vice President of Client Services
As Vice President of Client Services, Chris brings over 19 years of online marketing and Information Technology consulting experience to ThoughtMatrix and its clients.
Previously working with Extractable, Chris served as Account Director for two Fortune 50 accounts. Prior to that, with Avenue A | Razorfish, Chris managed multimillion dollar global accounts for McKesson, Visa, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and AT&T Broadband. Chris provides senior level program strategy and analysis with respect to direct consumer marketing programs (email, online surveys, application and Web site development) for a variety of clients, both on the creative and technical levels. Chris also has served as an Associate with the San Francisco office of Booz Allen & Hamilton.
Chris holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree from Notre Dame, along with a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Virginia. He also served the San Francisco chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training as a run team coach for six years (1997-2003).

Carl Agers, Vice President of Marketing Services
Carl Agers brings more than 20 years of marketing and business development experience to the team. Prior to joining ThoughtMatrix, Carl founded the marketing consultancy, Tager Group, which he merged with Decision Counsel, a technology marketing and Internet strategy firm where he served as the Vice President of Strategy.
Previously, Carl served as the Senior Director of Marketing for USWeb/CKS, where he managed global product and marketing initiatives. Carl was also instrumental in launching several groundbreaking wireless communications products for Motorola during his tenure there as a field marketing manager, including many joint marketing initiatives with industry leaders Dell, Compaq, HP and IBM. Additionally, his team managed merchandising and channel marketing programs for CompUSA, Radio Shack/Tandy, Incredible Universe, and CellStar the largest retail cell phone distributor in the United States. Carl was a Senior Product Manager in Dell's portable products group, successfully launching over 15 global products.

Keith Patton, Vice President of Engineering
Keith has been involved in the software industry for more than 20 years delivering successful commercial products and myriad of Web applications for large online communities. Prior to ThoughtMatrix, Keith was VP of Technology for a social eCommerce company, InnerRewards.
Over the years, he has been an independent consultant, a Managing Architect for marchFIRST, and he cofounded a company that created one of the first flowcharting tools for personal and business computers. Keith has extensive experience in enterprise software architecture, using the best language and technologies at hand to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions, and his diverse experience enables him to build expert teams that can solve any challenge.

Dave O'Brien, Chief Architect of BPM Practice
Dave O'Brien has over 20 years experience in the enterprise software industry with an even balance between software development and professional services. As the Chief Architect for the BPM Practice at ThoughtMatrix, his best of breed solutions and Business Process Management methodologies are founded on his early experience at Stratus Computer, the leader in mission critical hardware and software subsystems, where he spear-headed their Total Quality Management program and implemented significant business process improvements. As the CEO of Kilimanjaro Consulting Group, Inc., he managed enterprise class projects with Very Large storage requirements and complex business process integration issues for a number of Fortune 500 clients, such as Walgreens, Sun Microsystems, Siemens and the U.S. Department of Defense.
As the Database Architect at MarkLogic, Dave developed the multi-terabyte distributed XML database architecture, which the publishing industry and government sectors use to access billions of documents. While at Silicon Graphics, he managed relationships with the leading enterprise database vendors such as Oracle, Sybase and Informix. Prior to that, he was an architect at Oracle and was instrumental in defining their Reliability, Availability and Serviceability features to better support mission critical applications. Dave is on the board of directors for a number of non-profit organizations in the Bay Area and is the co-founder of the DeJesus-O'Brien Foundation in the Philippines. He graduated from Harvard University with a BS degree in Computer Science.

Mike Lim, General Manager of BPM Practice
Michael Lim has over 10 years of process improvement and business strategy experience. He has a management consulting background, developed from the supply chain management space. Later he worked for several leading BPMS firms providing business process direction in Product Marketing, Sales and Business Development. Some of the vendors he developed BPM Strategies for include Handysoft, TIBCO , BEA and, more recently, he was involved in the development and launch of Appian Anywhere (BPMS SaaS platform). Moreover, he has lead several BPMS implementation projects for CSFB (Financial Services), U.S. Department of Justice (Government) and ENMAX Power (Utilities).
Michael currently is the General Manager for the BPM Practice at ThoughtMatrix. He brings a wealth of knowledge in BPM consulting services, product marketing and pre-sales management. Leveraging his understanding of the full BPM Implementation cycles from Pre-Sales to delivery, he provides customers the ability to bring process improvement, leveraging leading BPMS technologies, and create a process-centric Center of Excellence.
