Following up on the extremely successful integrated marketing program which saw a record increase in tax preparation customers, Petz and ThoughtMatrix collaborated to extend that success to the website as part of unveiling the new Petz brand.

Recognizing the opportunity to present a fresh and compelling brand to new and existing customers, Petz challenged ThoughtMatrix to launch the new site in the height of the tax preparation season. This crucial timing coincided with the peak of the website's annual traffic, thereby increasing the launch timing.

ThoughtMatrix utilized a rapid prototyping approach to provide the Petz team with an HTML prototype of the site that simulated the layout, navigation and functionality of key site components. This approach helped to engage key Petz stakeholders in the process, capturing and incorporating their needs for the site in just a two week period. The result was complete agreement across sales, marketing and IT on the new site approach before the visual design commenced, saving valuable time in creative phase.

Utilizing the prototype, Petz's marketing organization was able to begin content development and migration during the creative phase. This approach ensured content was prepared for integration upon the completion of the visual design. The collective teams completed all development including Flash and CRM integration quickly and launched the site in record time.
