ThoughtMatrix was retained by FASTBREAK to help update their Web site in order to support their evolving business. Their informational site had minimal customer management functionality that needed to be enhanced. With an aggressive timeframe, FASTBREAK wanted to extend their business to support a fully eCommerce-enabled site with a sophisticated pricing inventory system. The site needed to allow their existing and new customers to sell or donate their excess tickets through a private exchange.
ThoughtMatrix utilized an Agile methodology to refine the requirements and create a scalable architecture, compatible on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud. ThoughtMatrix leveraged the existing PHP site and, by integrating it with the Zend Framework, developed a fully functional commerce solution. This solution provided FASTBREAK and its customers the ability to manage their tickets, from making them available on the site to purchasing and shipping them to customers. The system also contains a comprehensive dashboard.
During the limited release of the site, FASTBREAK has extended their new ticket sales functionality to their existing customers and to several new customers. These customers have added thousands of tickets to the system available throughout the United States and sold several hundred tickets to guests. These ticket sales have saved thousands of dollars for their clients.
