Opportunity

A mobile, GPS-enhanced social network that connects people with corporate sponsors and worthwhile causes, Plus 3 wanted to expand its user base by developing a Palm webOS app to utilize the GPS capabilities of the Palm smartphones. The app would allow users to record activities and synch them with their Plus 3 Network account.

Solution

Using the Palm webOS SDK, ThoughtMatrix implemented the visual design, based on the existing Plus 3 Web site design and other mobile applications. The webOS application allows a user to set up an account with Plus 3, record GPS tagged and non-GPS tagged activities, synch those activities with Plus 3 Web app and track the funds raised for the users' selected causes.

Results

The application was developed in early 2010 and is available for purchase from the Palm App Catalog.
