Opportunity

Clarian Health is a world-class cooperative of hospitals in the Indianapolis area. Transportation between the facilities was improved with the launch of the Clarian People Mover monorail. Clarian Health worked with Cisco to deploy Cisco's Digital Signage solution, which puts monitors in all the stations with content served from a single location. ThoughtMatrix is one of Cisco's top partners in Digital Signage and Clarian Health asked us to create a unique solution for the in-station experience.

Solution

ThoughtMatrix developed a rich, 3D Flash experience that integrated with the train controller network and provided not only arrival times, but also showed 3D animation of the trains arriving in the station and enabled the integration of richer content via RSS feeds.

Results

This solution is being rolled out in the Clarian stations. The response has been overwhelmingly positive as the bar has been raised with regards to users' in-station experience. ThoughtMatrix continues to work with Clarian to add features and functionality.
