Opportunity

Once we were awarded the PGP site redesign, it was clear after the first meeting with The PGP marketing team that the current site was about the product of the company and not the users of the site. This had to change.

Solution

We ran several persona workshops to really understand who their customers were. We conducted a usability study, heuristics and competitive analysis to get a thorough understanding of the desired user experience. We performed numerous iterations on a new site design using only a clickable interaction model to get the user experience just right before we sent it to the creative team for visual design.

Results

The PGP site design was built on strong UI principles and really delivered the optimal user experience well before creative design was ever started. This resulted in a faster time to visual design and fewer iterations and approval cycles.
