As their industry has grown and evolved, Petz is the only independent and privately-held firm. The key to their brand promise is a balance of people and technology. It was critical that any direct campaign highlight their commitment to a personal touch in the era of faceless technology companies.
ThoughtMatrix developed a concept that uses today's technology to deliver a very personal experience. The firm secured customized mobile phones pre-configured with each customer's personal account manager and support person on speed dial. The phones were delivered in a highly branded package that supported the recent print campaign's message, "In our industry, only ONE tax solution takes your success personally." Each package was delivered the week before the industry's largest convention.
Many of the recipients were astounded to receive an activated and ready-to-use phone. During the conference, several customers and prospective customers visited the Petz booth to meet their team in person and noted the impact the piece had on their perception of the company. Petz is now planning to expand the program to include additional customers and partners, as well as using the phones on an ongoing basis to delivery timely information.
