Celliant

“The new website that ThoughtMatrix designed and built for us delivers the experience our customers and partners expect from an innovation leader like Celliant.” – Seth Casden, CEO

Opportunity

Celliant is a revolutionary technology that leverages the natural energy in the body to increase oxygen levels and blood flow through the use of minerals and fibers. Hologenix, the maker of Celliant, approached ThoughtMatrix to establish a rebranding strategy to assist the company in integrating sales & marketing within the scientific lab and development firm. Celliant serves a variety of markets and audiences—including many large apparel and textile companies, the medical community and consumers interested in performance sports and health. The company challenged ThoughtMatrix to design a new website to support Celliant's positioning for the diverse target audiences.

Solution

ThoughtMatrix leveraged its rapid user experience design process to create in-depth user personas and a robust information architecture. The clickable wireframes allowed Celliant to understand how the different visitors could navigate through the new site. The design then transformed the brand to better illustrate the different applications for the Celliant fiber and to communicate a vibrancy to match the revolutionary technology. A user-friendly Content Management System (CMS)—Joomla!—that enabled the company to continuously update the content for the site without the need for web developers or technical resources was also integrated on the back-end.

Results

ThoughtMatrix delivered an entirely new web experience that highlights the Celliant market solution by appealing to consumers, apparel designers and the medical and scientific community. Traffic to the Celliant website has increased at an exponential rate with visits rising by 132 percent and page views growing by over 142 percent between October 2010 and March 2011.
