As the result of a new corporate identity and name change to Insperity, it was necessary to refresh the company's brand to reflect its new position as a leading provider of comprehensive business performance solutions. One of the primary goals was to combine a number of acquired business units under the master brand, while continuing to position them as distinct offerings. ThoughtMatrix was engaged to develop a new information architecture and user experience, create a new Web design, and implement the site in conjunction with the company's new corporate identity announcement within two months.
Solution
The information architecture ThoughtMatrix developed provides multiple points of access to key service areas and business needs of Insperity's primary audience of small and medium-sized businesses. ThoughtMatrix also created clear call-to-action modules for lead generation purposes. The visual design highlights various customer images for each solution section, adding warmth with a human element that resonates with Insperity's client base. Social networking tools were incorporated so users could share articles on popular business management topics found in the Resource Center. All of these elements were implemented in a highly customized CMS to accommodate specific features of the site, making it easy for Insperity to keep the content fresh with up-to-date information.
Results
By utilizing a rapid prototyping process for the user experience, ThoughtMatrix's production team was able to collaborate easily with Insperity to develop and migrate content in a systematic manner in parallel with the visual design process. This approach ensured content was prepared for integration upon the completion of the visual design. Although an aggressive timeline, ThoughtMatrix delivered the site ahead of schedule.
