DocuSign, the #1 electronic signature platform provider in the world, engaged ThoughtMatrix to create a new information architecture, visual design and develop its new website to coincide with its corporate rebranding and new product release. Due to the significant changes in the new product, one of the key goals of the website was to have it serve as the primary resource for customer and partner support. For new prospects, the website had to clearly communicate how easy the products are to use as well as simplify purchasing paths to improve lead conversion. In addition, DocuSign required a more robust content management system to enable easier updating of content and accommodate the future growth of DocuSign.com.
Solution
The information architecture ThoughtMatrix developed provides intuitive access to critical support content including tutorial videos, how-to guides, webinars, and FAQs. Call-to-actions to sign up for a free trial or specific product are easily found in the primary navigation. The visual design leverages DocuSign's updated color palette providing a bright, clean, fresh look that appeals to both consumer and business users. Last, DocuSign is now able to quickly update content such as new promotions, press releases, case studies, and more with a customized Drupal CMS.
Results
ThoughtMatrix used a rapid prototyping process for planning the information architecture, allowing the design and development team to expedite production to accommodate the aggressive timeline. DocuSign had the opportunity to migrate content weeks before completion to ensure launching on schedule. Since deploying the site, DocuSign has partnered with ThoughtMatrix to expand the site's international capabilities, establish workflow process, and provide continued website development services.
