Leveraging Mobile Application Opportunities

A Major Innovation in Mobile Prototyping

John Tumminaro by John Tumminaro
It's no secret that prototyping mobile applications is hard. HTML5 doesn't really provide a great facsimile for native apps (you just don't get the responsiveness or layout that makes you want to develop native in the first place) and a lot of tools that are great for web functional prototypes (like our much beloved Axure RP) are only passable for mobile prototyping, often to the point of it not being worth it depending on the complexity of the UI. Well all that is set to change and our prayers have finally been answered. Coming May 1st a revolution in creating functional prototypes of native applications for rapid iteration is coming and not a moment too soon

Frankly, consumers would rather forget their wallet than their phone considering the access and power mobiles provide. From corporate CEOs to ever-elusive tweens, every one of us relies on the power of our mobile phones to connect us with the people and brands we value.

Designing and developing mobile solutions requires a different approach. Your users expect to interact with your site on their mobile devices using native interfaces. Delivering a compelling experience requires taking advantage of uniquely mobile features, such as content based on where the user is at that exact moment.

Content, data and wireless services all combine to create new solutions and business models. The landscape is wide and constantly changing. However, at ThoughtMatrix we have made it our business to maintain expertise across the predominant mobile platforms, operating systems and development environments. We continually monitor and evaluate industry best practices for you, to ensure that we build solutions that stay on the forefront of the marketplace.

Development on All Leading Mobile Platforms

Our team develops mobile solutions for all platforms including the iPhone, Android and Windows Phone. We will guide you through the myriad of architecture and development considerations to ensure their applications exploit the unique advantages of each platform.
